ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Accommodations is responsible for all operations related to guest welcome and stay at Manoir Rouville-Campbell. They oversee the front desk, housekeeping, and night ambassador teams, ensuring every guest experiences a stay that reflects Belvoir's upscale positioning.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

· Lead the setup of the accommodations department, including recruitment, team training, and implementation of operational standards, in preparation for the upcoming opening of Manoir Rouville-Campbell

· Oversee front desk, housekeeping, and night service operations

· Supervise and develop the teams: head housekeeper, day ambassadors, night ambassadors, and room attendants

· Define and enforce welcome standards and cleanliness standards for guest rooms and common areas

· Optimize occupancy rates in coordination with management

· Monitor accommodations budgets and analyze performance indicators (RevPAR, occupancy rate)

· Ensure compliance with hospitality industry and safety standards

· Coordinate room maintenance needs with the maintenance team

Standards & Guest Experience

· Guarantee every guest a unique, upscale stay consistent with Belvoir's positioning

· Deliver personalized service by leveraging guest information available in the CRM, anticipating needs and creating a memorable experience

· Provide personalized concierge service (reservations, activities, local recommendations) to meet each guest's specific needs

· Contribute, in collaboration with management, to shaping the Belvoir guest experience and negotiating partnerships that enrich it

· Inform guests about the history, heritage, and workings of Manoir Rouville-Campbell, embodying the soul of the property in every interaction

· Learn and share the story of Belvoir and each of its manors, enriching the guest experience and bringing the unique identity of each property to life

Individual Reservations & Revenue Management

· Manage all individual guest reservations, from initial inquiry through stay confirmation

· Define and adjust pricing strategy based on seasonality, demand, and competition

· Analyze revenue management indicators (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy rate) and adjust pricing strategies accordingly

· Optimize the distribution of reservations across channels (website, agencies, online booking platforms)

· Establish occupancy forecasts and revenue targets in collaboration with management

· Monitor deposits, cancellations, and enforcement of reservation policies

Housekeeping Team Supervision

· Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team (head housekeeper, room attendants) and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Belvoir cleanliness standards

· Establish schedules and task assignments based on occupancy rates and expected arrivals/departures

· Manage inventory and supply of cleaning products, linens, and accommodations supplies, and provide ongoing team training on cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards

Technology & Digital Ecosystem

· In collaboration with the technology team, lead the deployment and updating of the property management system (PMS): reservations, availability, pricing, and performance reports

· Ensure the integration and updating of data within the INFOR hotel management system, including rates, availability, and stay data

· Train front desk, housekeeping, and night ambassador teams on the technology tools in place (PMS, electronic locks, communication systems) and ensure effective day-to-day adoption

· Participate in optimizing data flow between departments (accommodations, dining, sales) for an integrated operational view

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

· Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel accommodations, including at least 2 years in a management role

· Knowledge of the heritage or boutique hospitality sector (strong asset)

· Excellent leadership, communication, and priority management skills

· Strong customer service focus and a culture of excellence

· Proficiency with a PMS (Property Management System)

· Fluency in French; functional English required (international clientele)

· Availability for variable hours based on operational needs
